What this website collects, why, and how to opt out. Last updated September 26, 2026.
The short version
This site counts visits itself and keeps the counts on its own infrastructure. It does not sell, rent, or share them, and it carries no advertising trackers and no social media pixels of its own.
Two things in the page do come from elsewhere, and both are described below: the featured listings panel on the home page, which belongs to Lofty and which contacts Google, and a small performance script that Cloudflare adds to every page.
When you fill in a form
If you send a message, request a home valuation, or submit a review, the information you type — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you wrote — is delivered to Mike Andrew so he can respond. It is used to answer you and to provide real estate services you have asked about. Reviews are published only after Mike Andrewapproves them, and only the display name, general area, and the text of the review appear on the site; your email address is never shown.
Form delivery uses Web3Forms, which processes the information and relays it by email. Web3Forms says submissions may be retained for up to three years unless a shorter retention setting applies or they are deleted sooner, and that its infrastructure and spam-prevention providers may process submission data. Itsprivacy policydescribes that processing.
Visit counting
Each page load records one row: the page you looked at, the site that linked you here (if any), the campaign tags in the link (if any), your browser's language, your screen size, your browser and operating system family, and the approximate location — city, state, country — that Cloudflare derives at its network edge.
Your IP address is never read and never stored. Your name and email are never attached to this data, even if you have also sent a message. None of it is shared with a third party; it sits in a database that only Mike Andrew can open.
Two cookies make the counts meaningful rather than raw hits. One identifies this browser for 180 days so a returning reader is not counted as a new one; the other groups the pages you read in one sitting and expires after thirty minutes of inactivity. Both hold nothing but a random number, are readable only by this site's server, and are not used for advertising. Rows are deleted after 180 days.

Property search
Links to search listings lead to a separate site operated by Lofty on Mike Andrew's behalf, where MLS listing data is displayed. That site sets its own cookies and has its own privacy terms; this page does not cover it. Home-valuation requests do not go to Lofty: they are submitted on this site through Web3Forms as described above.
The listings panel on the home page
The home page shows a panel of featured listings that is not part of this site. It is a page served by Lofty — the company that runs Mike Andrew's separate listing site — displayed inside a frame on this one.
Loading it makes your browser fetch the panel and its listing photographs from Lofty, and also contact Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, andGoogle's advertising network. Those set their own cookies and can record that your browser loaded the panel. What they collect and what they do with it is covered by Lofty's and Google's privacy policies, not by this one.
The opt-out link above does not stop any of that. It only switches off this site's own counting. Blocking third-party cookies, or using a content blocker, does stop it.
To be plain about what did and did not change: this site's own collection is exactly as described above — still first-party, still no IP address, still shared with no one. The requests to Google are the panel's rather than this site's, and they happen only on the home page.
Other services in the page
Fonts are served from this site itself. Photographs in the neighborhood guides are served from this site too. Neither involves anyone else.
Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this site, adds a small script to every page from its own domain to measure how quickly pages load. It is turned on in Cloudflare's settings rather than written into the site, it uses no cookies, and it is not an advertising tracker.
Your choices
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — including anything you sent through a form. Emailmike@mikeandrew.homes or call703-721-4332.
