What this website collects, why, and how to opt out. Last updated September 2026.

The short version

This site runs no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no third-party analytics service. It counts visits itself, stores the counts on its own infrastructure, and does not sell, rent, or share that information with anyone.

When you fill in a form

If you send a message, request a home valuation, or submit a review, the information you type — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you wrote — is delivered to Mike Andrew so he can respond. It is used to answer you and to provide real estate services you have asked about. Reviews are published only after Mike Andrew approves them, and only the display name, general area, and the text of the review appear on the site; your email address is never shown.

Form delivery uses Web3Forms, which relays the message to email and does not use it for anything else.

Visit counting

Each page load records one row: the page you looked at, the site that linked you here (if any), the campaign tags in the link (if any), your browser's language, your screen size, your browser and operating system family, and the approximate location — city, state, country — that Cloudflare derives at its network edge.

Your IP address is never read and never stored. Your name and email are never attached to this data, even if you have also sent a message. Nothing is shared with a third party; the data sits in a database that only Mike Andrew can open.

Two cookies make the counts meaningful rather than raw hits. One identifies this browser for 180 days so a returning reader is not counted as a new one; the other groups the pages you read in one sitting and expires after thirty minutes of inactivity. Both hold nothing but a random number, are readable only by this site's server, and are not used for advertising. Rows are deleted after 180 days.

Property search

Links to search listings and to request a home valuation lead to a separate site operated by Lofty on Mike Andrew's behalf, where MLS listing data is displayed. That site sets its own cookies and has its own privacy terms; this page does not cover it.

Other services in the page

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees the request for the font file. Photographs in the neighborhood guides are served from this site, not from a third party.

Your choices

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — including anything you sent through a form. Email mike@mikeandrew.homes or call 703-721-4332. Records that a real estate broker is required by Virginia law to retain are kept for as long as the law requires.
